Small French Great Coat Flintlock Pistol. Circa 1780, maker unknown. 4.5".54 cal. octagon to round engraved and gilt steel barrel. Approximately 30% gilding remains. The stock was broken through the wrist and repaired during its working life. Brass furniture has a pleasing, untouched olive patina. In good working order.
