World War I French Poster by Poulbot, 1916. "14 juillet 1916 Journée de Paris," published by H. Chacoin, 47½" x 32". Four young children pay tribute to two wounded soldiers as they pass. Name of a former owner is penned at lower left. Some tape remnants at edges, some marginal tears, and small paper loss at upper right corner. A lovely poster. Poulbot was known for his portrayal of children.
