[Flying Tigers] Claire Chennault and Others. Claire Lee Chennault, commander of the Flying Tigers. TLS ("C.L. Chennault"), 1p, 11" x 8½", 1947 Mar. 3, sending signed photo (not present) to Russel Silvius; with 1990 Flying Tigers FDC featuring Chennault. Robert H. Neale, top-scoring ace of the Flying Tigers, ALS ("Bob Neale"), 2pp, 7½" x 5¾", 1988 June 20, outlining his military career, the planes he flew, and the number of Japanese planes he shot down. With an ISP as commander of the First Pursuit Squadron, AVG. George E. Stratemeyer, commanding general of the India-Burma Sector and air adviser to the commanding general of the China-Burma-India Theater (1943-45). A 1947 TLS ("Geo. E. Stratemeyer") as Lt Gen. U.S. Air Force Commanding, refusing to give a second autograph. All fine.
