Gõring, Hermann (1893-1946) Leading member of the Nazi Party and commander of the Luftwaffe; tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity at Nuremberg and sentenced to hang, but committed suicide (by a potassium cyanide capsule) the night before he was scheduled to die. 5½" x 3½" PS dated "1929" in black ink across Gõring's chest. The chest-up portrait shows him in uniform, laden with medals. Some silvering, else fine.
