DS ("North") as Prime Minister, 1p, 13¾" x 8½", Treasury Chambers, 1771 Apr. 30. Ordering payment to Sir William De Grey who has been appointed by the King (George III) as Chief Justice in the Court of Common Pleas. Very good; paper loss in lower left quadrant affects a few words of recipient's title, but not North's signature at lower right.
