Roman Empire. Lot of Two 3rd Century Coins, c. 220-275 AD. First, a Denarius of Elagabalus: Horned bust right / Elagabalus right, at altar (Sear II 7542). Choice strike -- sharp, toned and lustrous; a few deposits in right obv. field. Next a silvered Antoninianus of Aurelian: Military bust right / Togate Aurelian and Concordia (cf. Sear II 11523). Sharp, with excellent metal and nearly full silvering. Nice lot. Coins average Extremely Fine.
