Mostly 19th century Fiscal Instruments from New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico and North Carolina. Consists of checks and drafts from the above mentioned States. Includes two different United States Depository Pension Checks issued by the First National Bank of Trenton (Dept. of the Interior), 1870 and 1871. Also included is a check drawn on the Silver City National Bank in New Mexico. and an earlier one from Las Vegas, New Mexico. Many with interesting vignettes and various Revenue stamps. An interesting offering that deserves careful scrutiny prior to bidding. Housed in an album, many with detailed descriptions. Lot of 49 notes.
