Group of mostly 19th century Fiscal Instruments from Nebraska and the Nevada Territory. Consists of checks, drafts and other fiscal paper from Nebraska and Nevada. We note several from The Manhattan Silver Mining Company of Nevada in Austin and a number from the Bullion and Exchange Bank of Carson City, Nevada. Various checks and drafts issued in gold coin by the Carson City Savings Bank, etc. Some interesting notes from the agency of The Bank of California in Gold Hill, Nevada with interesting Revenue stamps attached. We also note a Treasury Warrant issued in Virginia City, Nevada with attached Documentary stamp as well as some Wells, Fargo & Co. of Virginia City drafts, etc. An interesting offering that deserves careful scrutiny prior to bidding. Housed in an album, many with detailed descriptions. Lot of 95 notes.
