Group of 19th century Fiscal Instruments from Missouri and the Montana Territory. Consists of checks, drafts, and other fiscal paper from Missouri and Montana. We note two different certificates of deposit from the Banking House of Page and Bacon in St. Louis, MO. and several from the Banking House of L.H. Hershfield & Bros. of Helena, MT. Many with interesting vignettes and Revenue stamps. An interesting offering that deserves careful scrutiny prior to bidding. Housed in an album, many with detailed descriptions. Lot of 65 notes.
