19th century Fiscal Instruments from the Territory of Colorado and 18th-19th century Fiscal Instruments from Conneticut. Consists of checks, drafts and various fiscal paper. We note an interesting certificate of deposit from the Rocky Mountain National Bank, Central City, Colorado Territory, Jan. 19, 1874 with a large Revenue stamp; several from Leadville, Georgetown, Golden, etc. Territory of Colorado. In addition, we note several Colonial perior warrants from Conneticut: June 1, 1782 signed by treasurer Peter Colt (Revolutionary statesman and ancestor of Samuel Colt the inventor of the revolver) and one from Hartford Sept. 20, 1781 signed by Jedediah Huntington (Revolutionary War General). Many have lovely vignettes and various Revenue stamps attached. An interesting offering that deserves careful scrutiny prior to bidding. Housed in an album, many with detailed descriptions. Lot of 72 notes.
