1858-S $20 Liberty. NGC graded AU-58. Light golden toning on both sides. Smooth matte gold finish with a blushes of reddish gold luster around devices. An unsung early S-mint date, especially when found in choice AU58 condition. Some lightness of strike which is found on occasion on these is nowhere indicated; the fact is, this coin is well above average in its strike, originality, and attractive condition. Pop 123; 14 finer; 1 in 60; 12 in 61; 1 in 63. (PCGS # 8925) .
