1853 $1 Gold Liberty. PCGS graded MS-64. A beautiful looking coin. This satiny golden dollar dances with strong luster. Nicely struck, too, indeed fully so, the stars, hair curls and beads along the rim of the coronet all stand-outs. Turning to the reverse, there are almost no abrasions found on this side either. Definitely special mention is merited. A must for any Gold Type Set buyer (PCGS # 7521) .
