1823 N-2 R2. VF-20. Slightly sharper with a planchet chip at the dentils over star 3 (as struck) and rim bruises at the stem tip and left of the first S in STATES. Attractive glossy chocolate brown with hints of frosty lighter brown in protected areas of the reverse. MDS with rim cud breaks at star 5 and over star 6. A very nice 1823 normal date in spite of the minor flaws.
