Lot 1254

1801 S-221 R2 Corrected Fraction 100 over 000. VF-30. Attractive glossy olive brown and dark chocolate with underlying frosty luster in the fields and protected areas. No marks, but there are traces of shallow waxy verdigris or crud in protected areas of the reverse. The crud may be removable and the eye appeal of this piece is excellent. M-LDS, Breen state IV late. A strong rim cud break shows over F AME and a smaller but clearly defined rim cud also shows over the O in OF. A nice example of this popular corrected fraction variety.
Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000.

Realized $2,070
