1798/7 S-152 R2 Overdate 8 over 7. VG-10. Several points sharper with a small patch of shallow corrosion at the rim left of the hair ribbon and another at the base of the D in UNITED. Both of these rough patches show traces of greenish verdigris. The rest of the planchet is a mostly glossy dark steel brown and chocolate. MDS. The date and legends are strong and the overdate is bold.
