Lot 1162
1798/7 S-150 R5 Overdate 8 over 7. VG-7. Close to VG8 but there are traces of minor roughness on both sides. No marks or verdigris. Rather glossy chocolate brown, dark in protected areas and lighter on the highpoints. M-LDS, Breen state IV. The date is bold and the overdate is obvious. The legends are easily readable.
