Lot 1151
1797 S-143 R5 Stemless Wreath. Good-4. Glossy light olive and steel brown. No roughness or verdigris, and the only notable mark is a small rim dent under the fraction. The obverse is slightly misaligned to the bottom causing the lower edge of the date to flow into the rim, but the upper part is clear and LIBERTY is strong. The reverse legends are complete except for STATE, which is gone thanks to an uneven strike. The stemless wreath feature is obvious.
