1797 S-132 R5+ Stemless Wreath. VG-8 Plus. Attractive glossy chocolate brown. Smooth, corrosion-free surfaces showing only a few minor marks, including a vertical nick in the field before the upper lip and a shallow planchet flake right of the F in OF. LDS, Breen state II. The fused dentils over IC in AMERICA are obvious. The date is clear and the legends are strong. The stemless wreath feature is bold. Very nice for the grade, close to VG10.
