1797 S-123 R4. Good-5. A couple points sharper with fine porosity covering the obverse, strongest on the left side. No verdigris, and the reverse is smooth. The only contact marks are a couple dull rim nicks at TY and a light rim bruise at the O in OF. Slightly glossy dark steel brown and chocolate, the reverse showing far more gloss than the obverse. The date is complete and easily readable but weakened by the roughness, as is LIBE, but the remainder of the legends are devices are strong. E-MDS, Breen state II.
