1796 S-85 R5-. VG-8. Liberty Cap type. Several points sharper but covered with very fine roughness, strongest in the fields and protected areas. A small, light rim nick right of the Y is the only notable mark, and it is not a distraction. Dark steel and olive brown showing a bit of gloss on the devices but more matte in protected areas. EDS, Breen state I. The date and legends are complete and clear.
