1794 S-47 R4. VG-8. Sharpness F12 with a dozen small pitmarks on the right side of the obverse, mostly in the field over the bust tip, plus a half dozen shallow contact marks under STATE, two more at the O in ONE, and a planchet void on the lower part of the wreath ribbon. The remainder of the planchet is smooth and shows only trivial contact marks. Lightly cleaned and retoned glossy steel brown and chocolate. The date and legends are complete and strong. MDS, Breen state II. The edge lettering is clear but blundered reading "ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR".
