Judea. Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. Small Bronze (18 mm), Year 2, struck 133/134 AD. Cluster of grapes; Hebrew inscription around ("Year 2 of the Freedom of Israel"). Reverse: Palm tree of seven branches, two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription across field below ("Jerusalem"). Hen. 710; cf. Mild. 154 (but slight differences to the dies); AJC 49a. Well centered and struck, with dark to dusty light green patina. A very fine example of type. About Extremely Fine.
