1869, 15¢ Fractional Currency. Fourth Issue. PCGS graded Apparent Gem New 65, Blue End Paper Enhanced with Dye. . Fr-1269. . KL-3334. An interesting note that appears virtually flawless at first glance and has unbelievable colors, but it is actually too good to be true. The deep blue color at the right end of the note has been enhanced with some sort of blue dye. This one would fool many, and even an expert or two might have to look twice to determine the reality of the situation. Still worth a premium due to its unarguable eye appeal.
Estimated Value $150 - 200.
