1855-C $1 Gold Indian. Sharpness of EF-40. Lightly bent and nicely toned. Only 9,803 struck, this is one of the scarcer C-mint issues, also important because it occurs on a Type 2 Indian head gold dollar, a short-lived type. Usual uneven strike on the rims as well as the central portion of the reverse.
