1876-S Trade Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Lovely rainbow toning that centers around sunset-glow golden radiance at the periphery. A showy mint-fresh example, as crisp and gloss-laden as anyone could ask for in the MS64 grade. A rounded impression is the sometimes noted for Trade dollars imprinted by the stamp of the dies that struck this date; we are happy to see that the present example is a grand exception to that rule in being very sharp throughout, including centers. Pop 86; 5 finer, 4 in 65, 1 in 66 (PCGS # 7043) .
