1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Small date and letters. NGC graded MS-66 PQ. O-111. R1. So-called Child's Head variety. Large C in denomination; stars 6 and 7 recut at upper points. A lovely example of this ever popular series. Blast white surfaces with gemmy lustre and looks for the grade. A virtually mark free Premium Quality coin as expected. Well struck. Even the finest, most delicate detail of the hair curls seen on this coin struck with uncommon exactness for the 1834 date. All around, a very appealing gem. Pop 19; 4 finer in 67 (PCGS # 6166) .
