1827 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Square base 2. NGC graded MS-62. O-104. R1. Well struck and mostly untoned with luster to spare, even on the highest points. only a couple of the stars on the right are incomplete. The extensive production of 5,493,400 half dollars this year was completed with 49 die varieties, the most in the series (PCGS # 6144) .
