1866 Silver Three Cents. NGC graded Proof 68. Star. Perhaps the finest known. Only 725 proofs struck. Wonderful blue and gold toning. A satiny frosted cameo Proof, greatly enhanced by its incredible color, the reverse shows delicate aquamarine patina in addition to the others that is very becoming. Crisply struck and problem-free, of course, considering the outstanding grade it received from the grading service. One for the connoisseur! Pop 1; none finer @ NGC (PCGS # 3716) .
