1877 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded Proof 62 Brown. Popular key date. Mostly brown with some mint red visable and touches of glossy steel brown. Struck with methodical precision throughout, all of the feathers are finely detailed as is the word LIBERTY whose small letters stand out boldly. The wreath and Union shield both share the same razor-sharpness as the obverse. An attractive Proof of this key date. Pop 3; 33 finer in proof brown. (PCGS # 2318) .
