1852 N-14 R1 Repunched Date. AU-55. A mint state cent that was dipped and has retoned a mottled mix of light olive brown and chocolate with some frosty artificial mint color showing in protected areas. The surfaces are satiny and free of friction, contact marks, or carbon spots. Would rate a higher grade if the toning was more uniform. MDS, die state c. Repunching remains visible on the 1 and 52 in the date.
