1851 N-2 R1. MS-63. Mint red fading to steel brown on the highpoints, 75% of the red remaining. A pair of tiny specks of darker brown toning right of star 4 and another at the dentils left of star 1 plus a light nick at the left foot of the first A in AMERICA are the only notable marks. M-LDS, die state b. The neck is covered with shallow low spots caused by debris on the die, as usual for this variety.
