Lot 2126
1799 S-189 R2. Fair-2. The date is weak but easily readable, especially the last digit, which is nearly complete although not strong. No corrosion or verdigris, but banged up a bit and showing some fine hairline scratches. Dark chocolate and steel brown with lighter toning on the obverse devices thanks to a light cleaning. A decent hole filler, but a clunker nonetheless.
