1798/7 S-152 R2 Overdate 8 over 7. Fine-15. Ten points sharper with a dozen fine, light scratches scattered over the obverse, all blending perfectly into the natural toning. The only other defects are a rim nick off the bust tip, a small dig at the top of the second 0 in the denominator, and a tiny pitmark in the leaves under the first A in AMERICA. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and quite nice for the grade. Glossy mottled mix of steel brown, chocolate, and olive brown. The date and legends are bold and the overdate feature is obvious.
