1797 NC-2 R6. VG-10. Sharpness F15 or slightly better but covered with fine porosity. No verdigris or contact marks other than a dull rim nick well left of the L in LIBERTY. Lightly cleaned and nicely retoned dark chocolate and steel. The date and legends are complete and strong. MDS, Breen state II, with a bold rim cud break at D-ST. Not perfect but still solidly in the condition census for this very rare variety.
