Lot 2108

1797 S-139 R1. EF-45. Glossy olive and chocolate brown with frosty muster remaining in a few of the protected areas. Smooth and problem-free, the only mark being a small rim nick over the right side of the second T in STATES. Nicely struck LDS, Breen state V. The die cracks left of the lower curls are strong and the swelling over the bust tip is obvious. A very attractive example of a common die variety.
Estimated Value $3,000 - 4,000.

Realized $3,795
