Lot 2060

1828 C-3 R1. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. The obverse is lustrous light bluish steel brown with traces of faded mint color in protected areas while the reverse is a uniform lustrous light golden tan. Well struck with excellent eye appeal. A few microscopic contact marks in the field before the face and a small spot of darker toning near the dentils right of the D in UNITED are the only notable marks, and they are not at all distracting. M-LDS, Manley state 3.0. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees CCW. EAC grade MS60+.
Estimated Value $350 - 500.

Realized $437
