1836 $2.50 Classic Head. Sharpness of EF-45. We note a tiny scratch above the date. Lightly toned. Head of 1835 with tall head, close date; forms the majority of survivors of this date. Device punch is believed to be by Kneass; dies completed and dated by Gobrecht after Kneass's stroke in 1835.
