Rome. Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Solidus (4.39 g), Milan mint, struck c. 395-423 AD. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: Emperor in military attire right, holding labarum and Victory on globus, foot on captive; VICTORI - AAVGGG; M-D, COMOB. RIC X, 1206; Depeyrot 16/2. Sharply struck and very lustrous. A few light hairlines on obverse. Attractive, on generous flan. Extremely Fine.
