Rome. Sabina, wife of Hadrian. AE As, Rome mint, struck c. 128 AD. Scarce. Diademed bust right, braided hair elaborately coiled on top of head. Reverse Ceres seated left on basket, holding grain ears and torch. RIC 1023; BMCRE 1900; Cohen 70. Sharp, bold portrait. Handsome brown patina. Very Fine plus.
