Rome. Tiberius, 14-37 AD. AR Denarius, Lugdunum mint, struck c. 18-37 AD. Laureate head right. Reverse: Livia (as Pax) seated right on chair, holding long scepter and olive branch; ornate chair legs; on single line base. RIC I 30; RSC 16a. Boldly struck, from dies of quite pleasant style (eye on portrait tooled?). Toned. Fine to Very Fine.
