Rome. Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. Lot of 2 coins. First a denarius, Lugdunum mint, struck 2 BC. - 4 AD.: Laureate head right / Togate Gaius and Lucius standing front, each with round shield and spear; above in field, simpulum and lituus (RIC 210; Sear II 1597). Also, bearing a portrait of Augustus, a billon Tetradrachm of Nero, Alexandria, dated Year 13 (66-67 AD.): Radiate and aegis-draped bust left / Radiate head of Augustus right (Sear II 2007). Lot of 2 coins. Coins average Fine to Very Fine.
