Rome, Imperatorial Period. Octavian, 44-27 BC. AR Quinarius, Rome(?) mint, c. 29-28 BC. Scarce. Bare head of Octavian right. Reverse: Victory standing left on Cista Mystica, flanked by two snakes; ASIA RECEPTA. RIC 276; BMCRE 647. Sharp strike on excellent metal. Reverse a little off center. Nice, dark old collection toning. Very Fine.
