Celtic Coinage. Middle Danube. Uncertain Tribe, c. 150-75 BC. AR Tetradrachm (13.62 g). Philip II, "Π-Type." Celticized laureate head of Zeus right. Reverse: Horseman riding right; Π behind head. CCCBM I --; Lanz 716; KMW 1329 (same dies). Well struck and centered. Lightly toned and lustrous. A quite stylish imitation piece. Extremely Fine.
