Lot 863

1915-D Lincoln Cent. NGC graded MS-66 Red. Well struck and a brilliant red example. Iridescent coppery red hues resonate off of the surface of this pristine, satiny Gem. Desirable with this controlled strike on the main devices, as well, the portrait and the wheat ears are extra bold, with no sign of the usual worn-die problems found on some lesser grade specimens. (We doubt if we could ever turn our eyes away from this beautiful specimen were it not for the other coins in the queue to be cataloged!) Low NGC census: Pop 5; none finer at NGC (PCGS # 2482) .
Estimated Value $6,000 - 6,500.
