1861 Indian Head Cent. NGC graded MS-66. Boldly struck with nice light toning. The smooth-tan surfaces are radiant from rim to rim with no carbon to report. Sharply struck and fully lustrous, both sides possess eye appeal to spare, an indication of methodical precision throughout and seldom seen on the 1861 issue. This has the lowest mintage among the copper-nickel dates, 1859-64. Pop 35; 1 in 66 Star; 2 in 67. (PCGS # 2061) .
