Hungary. Goldgulden, ND. Fr-12; Pohl-E 1-4. Kremnitz mint. 3.54 grams. 20.8 mm. Albrecht of Habsburg, 1437-1439. Quartered arms (one of two types). Leg: ALBERTUS.D.G.R.UNGARIE. Reverse: St. Ladislaus. Halbred in right hand, orb and cross in left, KR at sides. Leg: .S. LADISLAUS. REX. NGC graded MS-63.

Albrecht of Habsburg was both king of Hungary and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. He issued coins for both areas, and the Hungarian ones are distinguished by the depiction of St. Ladislaus.
