Cilicia. Tarsos, Satrapal Coinage. Mazaios, c. 361-334 BC. AR Stater (10.97 g). Baaltars enthroned left, eagle and grapes in hand; Aramaic inscription around. Reverse: Lion attacking bull left, monogram below. SNG Levante 106. Baaltars off center, with minor areas of usual flatness. The reverse sharp and wonderfully detailed. Lightly toned and lustrous. Superb Extremely Fine.
