Original Series, $5 National Bank Note. First NB of South Charleston, OH. CGA Fine 12. . Fr-394. . KL-1100. This early bank was chartered in 1863 and lasted until 1877, issuing First Charter notes only. This $5 is one of just seven surviving examples, and is problem-free for the grade save for a short split at the upper left that affects nothing. A scarce note from a difficult-to-find location.
