1818 Capped Bust Half Dollar. PCGS graded AU-55 PQ. O-106 with solid triple segment over R on reverse. Bold around the periphery, slightly soft in the centers as made. It is the fabulous natural toning that makes this Premium Quality coin memorable. The obverse exhibits violets blending to royal blue irridescence and the reverse is sea-green to russet at the borders. Worth a strong premium bid for this coin (PCGS # 6113) .
