Quaker "Progressive Friends’ Meetings, 1853-1886". Two volumes, 8 ½" x 6", with 33 complete reports, bound together, of annual Quaker meetings held in Longwood, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Original cloth and quarter leather binding with gold-stamped title spines. Well over 600 pages. Reports include a memorial message to President Lincoln regarding "…the seditious course pursued …by the so-called Confederate States," as well as reports on "Slavery and the Rebellion," "The Rights of Women," and a lengthy eulogy: "The Assassination of President Lincoln.".
